Walter Elias (Walt) Disney [ˈwɔːltər ˈɛːlijas wɔːlt ˈdɪzni] (Chicago, 5. decembra 1901. - Burbank, 15. decembra 1966.), američki crtač animiranog filma i producent.

Nesumnjivo najzaslužniji za popularizaciju crtanog filma u svetu, naročito onog za decu. Ujedno, bio je jedna od najprosperitetnijih i najmoćnijih ličnosti svetskog filma uopšte. Da bi povećao svoje prihode, Disney je osnovao vlastitu distributersku kompaniju, a takođe je 1954. počeo proizvoditi TV seriju koja je njegovu popularnost prenela i u domove njegovih ljubitelja.

Konačno, 1955. godine Disney je izgradio zabavni park "Disneyland" u Kaliforniji, jednu od najvećih turističkih atrakcija Sjedinjenih Država. Kasnije, 1971., njegovi su naslednici sagradili još veći park u Orlandu na Floridi.
