The Third Man (sh. Treći čovjek) je britanski crno-bijeli kriminalistički film snimljen 1949. u režiji Carola Reeda. Zaplet, temeljen na originalnom scenariju Grahama Greenea, je smješten u (tada suvremeni) Beč, koji se još uvijek nije oporavio od posljedica Drugog svjetskog rata i koji se nalazi pod savezničkom okupacijom. Protagonist, čiji lik tumači Joseph Cotten, je Holly Martins, američki autor šund-romana koji na poziv prijatelja Harryja Limea (čiji lik tumači Orson Welles dolazi u Beč, ali tamo prvo dozna da je Lime poginuo nesretnim slučajem, a potom da je bio upetljan u mrežu crnoburzijanskih trgovaca penicilinom. The Third Man, koji je vješto koristio autentične lokacije razorenog grada, fotografiju u stilu njemačkog ekspresionizma, nihilistički stav film noira i tjeskobu izazvanu počecima Hladnog rata, je doživio ogroman uspjeh kod kritike, ali i stvorio reputaciju koja se održala do današnjih dana, kada se smatra jednim od najboljih filmova svih vremena. Reputaciji filma su značajno pomogli citati likova, ali i muzika Antona Karrasa, čija je Tema Harryja Limea postala jednom od najprodavanijih singlica 1950-ih.

Godine 1997. je u Hrvatskoj snimljen njegov neslužbeni remake pod naslovom Treća žena.
