Samuel Grosvenor "Sam" Wood (10. jul 1884 – 22. septembar 1949) bio je američki filmski režiser i producent, najpoznatiji po nizu hollywoodskih hitova 1930-ih i 1940-ih koji su u različitim kategorijama osvojili jedanaest nagrada Oscar. Među najpoznatijim ostvarenjima su i A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races, koji su popularnim učinili braću Marx. Usprkos toga je postao poznat i po svom neprijateljstvu prema Grouchu Marxu. Kao gorljivi desničar je 1940-ih osnovao Filmsku alijansu za očuvanje američkih ideala, a pred smrt sudjelovao u makartističkim progonima svjedočeći pred HUAC-om.
