Jean Arthur (17. oktobar 1900–19. jun 1991.) bila je američka glumica koja je stekla status filmske zvijezde u Hollywoodu 1930-ih i 1940-ih. Danas ju se smatra oličenjem screwball komedije. Najpoznatije su joj ženske uloge u tri filma Franka Capre: Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, You Can't Take It With You i Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
