Francis Gary Powers
Francis Gary Powers, poznatiji kao Gary Powers (17. august 1929 - 1. august 1977) bio je američki avijatičar, najpoznatiji po tome što je 1960. godine, pilotirajući za račun CIA-e špijunski avion U-2 oboren iznad Sovjetskog Saveza, te zarobljen i od sovjetskih vlasti osuđen na 10 godina zatvora. Ubrzo nakon toga je razmijenjen za sovjetskog obavještajca Rudolfa Abela. Godine 1977. je poginuo u rušenju helikoptera kojim je snimao materijal za televizijske vijesti u Los Angelesu.
