Leavenworth er en by i Leavenworth County i den amerikanske delstaten Kansas. Den ble grunnlagt i 1854 som den første byen i delstaten. Navnet stammer fra Fort Leavenworth, en garnison opprettet i 1827 av oberst Henry Leavenworth. I 2010 hadde byen et innbyggertall på 35 251.
Leavenworths viktigste industri er fengsler. I byen ligger et stort føderalt fengsel, USP Leavenworth, samt en rekke mindre fengsler, inkludert forsvarets hovedfengsel, U.S. Disciplinary Barracks.
