ミルフォード・グレイヴス^{[注 1]}（Milford Graves、1941年 8月20日 - 2021年 2月12日^[3]）は、アメリカのジャズ・ドラマー、パーカッショニスト、音楽名誉教授^[4]^[5]、研究者/発明家^[6]^[7]、ビジュアル・アーティスト/彫刻家^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]、庭師/薬草家^[12]^[13]、武道家^[14]^[15]。グレイヴスは、1960年代のポール・ブレイ、アルバート・アイラー、ニューヨーク・アート・カルテットらとの初期のアヴァンギャルド・ジャズにおける貢献で注目に値し、パーカッションをタイムキープする役割から解放したフリー・ジャズの先駆者とみなされている。作曲家でサックス奏者のジョン・ゾーンはグレイヴスを「基本的に20世紀のシャーマン」と呼んだ^[16]。
