Deuteronomis

Deuteronomis (bahasa Inggris: Deuteronomist; disingkat Dtr^[1] atau D) dalam artian sempit merujuk kepada dokumen-dokumen sumber yang menekankan pasal-pasal inti (12-26) dari Kitab Ulangan (bahasa Inggris: Book of Deuteronomy). Sedangkan dalam artian luas, deuteronomis merujuk pada kelompok yang lebih luas yang di dalamnya termasuk Kitab Ulangan dan Sejarah Deuteronomistis, yaitu Kitab Yosua, Kitab Hakim-hakim, kedua kitab Samuel dan kedua kitab Raja-raja, dan kadang termasuk Kitab Yeremia.^[2] Selain itu, istilah "Deuteronomik" (Deuteronomic) dan "Deuteronomistis" (Deuteronomistic) juga digunakan untuk merujuk pada hal yang berhubungan dengan Deuteronomis. Jika ada perbedaan di antara keduanya, Deuteronomik terkadang merujuk pada pasal intinya dan Deuteronomistis pada keseluruhan kitab Ulangan dan Sejarah Deuteronomistis.^[3]^[4]

Sejarah Deuteronomistis

Sejarah Deuteronomistis atau Riwayat Deuteronomistis merupakan sebutan yang diberikan oleh pakar kritik Alkitab bagi kitab-kitab hukum setelah Tetrateukh (Kitab Kejadian hingga Bilangan), yaitu Kitab Ulangan, Kitab Yosua, Kitab Hakim-hakim, 1 dan 2 Samuel serta 1 dan 2 Raja-raja (dan juga terkadang Kitab Yeremia). Menurut pendapat beberapa pakar, kitab-kitab tersebut diduga disusun pada sekitar tahun 400 SM.

Menurut beberapa pakar, Tetrateukh sebagai hasil komposisi yang dilakukan oleh Redaktor P kembali diredaksi, dan ke dalamnya disisipkan "Kitab Perjanjian" (Keluaran 20:22 – 23:33). Tetrateukh kemudian diperluas dengan ditambahkannya beberapa kitab, yaitu dari kitab Ulangan sampai Kitab 2 Raja-raja. Hasil peredaksian yang dilakukan oleh para redaktor Dtr tersebut adalah Eneateukh yang merupakan karya sejarah yang sangat besar yang disebut dengan "Sejarah Deuteronomistis" (DtrG). Sejak saat itulah proses kanonisasi Kitab Kejadian – Kitab 2 Raja-raja telah selesai. Belakangan, kitab Eneateukh kembali dipecah menjadi dua bagian besar, yaitu Taurat atau Pentateukh (Kitab Kejadian sampai Ulangan) dan Kitab Nabi-Nabi Awal (Kitab Yosua sampai Raja-raja).

Pada kenyataannya, orang Yahudi percaya bahwa kitab-kitab Pentateukh sudah lengkap pada zaman Yosua yaitu saat bangsa Israel memasuki tanah Kanaan setelah keluar dari Mesir pada abad ke-15 SM. Ketika Bait Suci Pertama didirikan, Pentateukh ditempatkan secara khusus di dalam Tabut Perjanjian di dalam ruang Mahakudus. Salinan kitab ini dibawa ke dalam Pembuangan ke Babel dan dibawa kembali ke Tanah Israel oleh Ezra pada [[abad ke-6 SM. Hal ini didukung oleh catatan sejarah kuno Yahudi, antara lain Talmud, maupun para sejarawan, misalnya Flavius Yosefus (37-100 M).^[5]
