Locke Township is one of sixteen townships in Elkhart County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,913.^[4]

History

Locke Township was organized in the 1840s.^[5] It was named for Samuel Lockwood, a pioneer settler and native of Vermont.^[6]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 17.78 square miles (46.0 km²), all land.^[4]
